On December 15th, 2020, Giannis Antetokounmpo, “The Greek Freak”, made NBA history by signing the largest Supermax contract in NBA history – 5 years and $228.2 million. This deal will keep Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee for the next six seasons (including this year which is under his old deal).
The Bucks no longer have to worry about the Greek Freak leaving after this season and can now continue to focus on improving the roster to win a championship (or multiple) while they have him locked-up over the next several years.
